Stella Maris Bortoni-Ricardo graduated in Letters : Portuguese and English

 

:  (Lake Erie College , Ohio– first year- and  the Catholic University of Goiás

 

graduation  (1968. She has a Master Degree  in Linguistics – University of

 

Brasilia, 1977 and a Ph.D. Degree  in Linguistics from the University of

Lancaster, 1983. She spent a post-doc year in 1989 at the University of

Pennsylvania. She is retired now and is dedicated to writing books in
